(November 15, 2024) — Banjo was found abandoned with his sister, who has since been adopted. This poor guy is still at Friends of Old Lyme Animal Control waiting to go home. He is gorgeous, a good boy and has come such a long way since arriving at Animal Control. He is finally starting to realize that no one is ever going to hurt him again.
Banjo is the sweetest boy and his butt wiggles when he sees someone. He is between one and two years old, has been neutered, and is up-to-date with his shots. He can be quite shy and timid at first, but will warm up to you quickly. Make sure you have a LOT of treats when you go meet him. It is all about the treats!
Banjo is okay with other dogs, but has not been cat-tested.
If you can open your hearts and give him a forever home, please call Friends of Old Lyme Animal Control at 860-434-1605, extension 244; or email them at animalcontrol@oldlyme-ct.gov and ask for an application. It would be so great if Banjo had a home as the holidays approach!
