(August 2, 2023) — As part of its continuing mission to deliver safe, reliable service to customers, Eversource will be using helicopters to patrol electric transmission line rights of way through several communities in the northern and central parts of the state.
Crews will inspect the condition of the high-voltage transmission system to identify and assess any issues that may threaten electric reliability and to ensure they’re properly addressed.
Weather permitting, flights will take place on Thursday, August 3, 2023 and Friday, August 4, 2023 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in several towns in Connecticut, including Haddam and East Haddam.
