(October 10, 2023) —Correction: There was erroneous biographical information printed on the insert in the October 5, 2023 issue of the Haddam Killingworth News for Republican RSD 17 Board of Education candidate, Shawna Goldfarb.
It stated that she had served on the Haddam Board of Selectmen, the Haddam Planning and Zoning Commission, and was a Tylerville business owner. This information is incorrect. Shawna Goldfarb is, in fact, running for a second term on the RSD 17 Board of Education. She has chaired the Board’s Communications Committee, and has been on the Facilities, Finance, and Strategic Planning Committees. She is also a serving board member of HK Youth and Family Services.
The Haddam Republican Campaign Committee sincerely regrets this error.
