The Connecticut State Police need your help with identifying the pedestrian who succumbed to his injuries. The fatal motor vehicle collision occurred on Route 9 in Middletown on April 30, 2023.Â
The following is a description of the pedestrian:
– White male approximately 5’6″ – 5’8″
– Stocky build, brown eyes, black hair, black/red full facial beard
– Wearing white national geographic t-shirt, gray undershirt, blue jeans with black belt, white Nike Air low-top sneakers
– No scars/tattoos/marks
Vehicle #1 was traveling Southbound on Route 9 prior to exit 10 in the Town of Middletown. Vehicle #1 stuck a pedestrian prior to exit 10 in the right lane of two. The pedestrian was transported to Hartford Hospital by Hunter’s Ambulance. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at Hartford Hospital. The identity of the pedestrian is unknown at this time.
The Connecticut State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Squad (CARS) and The Connecticut State Police Major Crime were utilized to assist with this investigation.
