Children Welcome to “Read and Eat” at Killingworth Library

Submitted by Tammy Eustis

(June 23, 2023) — Come to “Read and Eat” every Thursday at the Killingworth Library from July 6, to August 24, 2023.  Children will listen to stories while they enjoy a picnic lunch from Noon to 1:00 p.m.  This program is most appropriate for children ages 5-10, but all children are welcome, especially to share in the free food.

Transportation to the Killingworth Library is serviced by  River Valley Transit Bus 645 or the Dial-a-Ride program, which can pick you up at your residence and transport you to the library. For more information on these options, visit estuarytransit.org.

Lunches will be provided by the Killingworth Women’s Organization. No registration is necessary. If you have questions about the program, please call 203-984-3518.

This program is sponsored through a partnership of the Killingworth Women’s Organization, Killingworth Library, the Killingworth Shared Harvest Garden, and Shoreline Soup Kitchens and Pantries.
