On July 16, 2019, parents of Regional School District #17 students received an email from Superintendent Howard Thiery, stating that he was resigning. Today, July 18, 2019, parents of Regional School District #17 students received an email from Dr. Jennifer Olsen, Principal of Haddam Killingworth Middle School, stating that she was moving with her family, and her last day would be August 9.
