(July 15, 2023) — The Red Cross is experiencing a critical shortfall in blood donations, with recent weeks seeing 50,000 fewer blood donations than needed to aid those in need.
There is often a decline in donations during the summer as well. This comes as there’s a need for a blood transfusion in the United States every two seconds.
Please visit www.redcrossblood.org and schedule an appointment at a blood drive near you. Your donation could save a life, and many drives offer additional benefits to donating, such as gift cards.
