(January 21, 2019) — The applications for Haddam Scholarship Fund, Inc. are now available in the guidance offices of HKHS, Xavier High School, Mercy High School and Vinal Technical High School. HSF, Inc. will be awarding $6000.00 in funds.
High School seniors who reside in Haddam, Higganum or Haddam Neck and are continuing their education after graduation are eligible to apply for these awards.
The John Bertolini Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 is open to Haddam and Killingworth residents. This scholarship is based on financial need, accomplishments of the applicant, particularly in the area of community service beyond the requirements for graduation.
The Dr. Kate Mead Award in the amount of $1000.00 is offered to a student who is pursuing a career in a health-related field.
