KILLINGWORTH, CONNECTICUT — The Changing Minds Advocacy Group is hosting an Adult Mental Health First Aid training on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Killingworth Firehouse located at 333 Route 81.
The cost for the 8 hour training is $20.00 and includes the training workbook, certificate of completion, and light meals both days. The training is appropriate for adults 18 years and older and will provide participants with tools to respond to someone who is in crisis, recognize signs and symptoms of a developing mental health problem, and provide an important bridge to care. No prior training or mental health experienced needed to attend. Attendees must attend both days.
