This election is an opportunity for voters to get it right! That is why I am supporting Cinzia Lettieri, a Clinton native, for State Representative from the 35th Assembly District. Cinzia’s accomplishments are already noteworthy on the state and local levels. Her experience in education, public policy, statewide advocacy, and local government are clear indications of her dedicated and enduring service to the community. Cinzia is a member of Planning and Zoning in Clinton, serves on its regulations subcommittee, and the Water Pollution Control Commission. Further, as a member of the Connecticut Council on Environmental Quality, appointed by Governor Lamont, Cinzia supports environmental policy decisions and provides oversight. She is also a strong proponent of health and housing concerns of local residents. As an educator, Cinzia advocates for quality education. While she supports strong academic programs, she is also dedicated to promoting diverse technical opportunities for students favoring the trades. She will be a forceful legislator, attentive to the needs and well-being of her constituents.

In recent weeks I have queried myself about how I might have the most impact with my single vote. Yes, Cinzia is competent for the job, but I want my vote to convey a message. Public service is a commitment to the people! It is about integrity, transparency and advocacy for the people you serve. It is about visibility and working to improve their quality of life. It is not about party loyalty, but responding to the needs in your district. Cinzia has knocked on doors throughout the 35th District and will act on your concerns. Use your vote to send a message that public service is a commitment that comes with responsibility. Elect Cinzia Lettieri to work for you!
