Christine Cohen is a mom of 3, a small business owner and has represented Killingworth, Guilford, Madison, Branford, East Haven, Middlefield, North Branford and Durham for 4 terms in the State Senate. She serves as Senate Chair of the Transportation Committee and has worked alongside Democrats and Republicans to pass balanced budgets that pay down our debt, cut taxes for working families and seniors, protect the environment and more.

In her time in the legislature she has voted to protect Connecticut residents from federal cuts to Medicaid and food assistance programs, establish affordable childcare options, expand a ban on PFAS and just this year she delivered $2.2 million to the local school district in Killingworth. There have been many accomplishments, but there still remains much work do to. Looking toward another two years in the State Senate, Christine is focused on bringing down costs for residents, holding utilities accountable and making sure everyone has access to affordable and quality healthcare.
