(September 12, 2026) — Killingworth artist Ron Imbriglio will have his first solo show, featuring works from his 70-plus years as an artist, at the Madison Senior Center, 29 Bradley Road in Madison starting on October 1, 2026. The exhibition runs through November 13, 2026. Admission is free and open to the public during regular Senior Center hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The 81-year-old Imbriglio’s oils, pastels, and watercolors explore the beauty of nature and creation, both locally and from his travels across the country. He began painting while in elementary school and later refined his skills at the Paier School of Art in Hamden, and at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Old Lyme.

A member of the Clinton Art Society, Imbriglio’s art has been displayed in many local shows, but this is the first exhibit that will exclusively feature his work. Imbriglio “paints what he sees,” and his paintings reflect the local beauty of Shoreline Connecticut, with many pieces hailing from Hammonasset, Chatfield Hollow, and other local nature spots. The show also includes samples of his commissioned oil and pastel works of people and pets.

Originals and prints of Imbriglio’s work are available for purchase at Fine Arts America or at his website www.ronimbriglio.com, where he can be reached for more information about commissions.
