(August 28, 2026) — Haddam Social Services is pleased to announce the arrival of a new Used Clothing Drop-Off Shed, made possible through a partnership with St. Pauly Textile, Inc. The new shed provides residents with a convenient way to donate gently used items while supporting textile reuse and helping keep usable materials out of the waste stream.

The shed accepts gently used clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, curtains, pillowcases, and stuffed animals. All donations should be placed in securely tied bags. Residents are asked not to leave furniture, electronics, books, household items, toys, garbage, pillows, rags, fabric scraps, or other non-approved materials at the shed. Items that are not accepted may instead be brought to the Swap Shed or to the donation bin at the Haddam Transfer Station.
Haddam Social Services is grateful to the community for continuing to support reuse, reduce waste, and help give useful items a second life. The new clothing donation shed offers another convenient way for residents to support their neighbors and the community. Haddam Social Services thanks everyone for helping us continue to serve the Haddam community.
