(August 11, 2026) — The Essex Library Association is pleased to showcase an exhibit of paintings by Mark Bavolack in the Buel Room now through September 3, 2026. Mark has always had a passion for creativity, color and the beauty of nature. After a successful career in commercial printing as a color separator, re-toucher, and sales and production professional, Mark discovered a new creative path through painting.
Inspired during an art retreat in 2019, Mark picked up a paint brush and has been creating ever since. Primarily self -taught, he continues to explore new techniques and learn from fellow artists, and brings curiosity, color, and a lifelong love of creativity to every piece he creates. The exhibit is open for viewing during the Library’s regularly scheduled hours at 33 West Avenue in Essex.
