Notice to Killingworth Voters: Democratic Primary to be Held on August 11th

(July 7, 2026) — Notice is hereby given that a Primary of the Democratic Party will be held in Killingworth on August 11, 2026, for nomination to the office indicated below. The name of the party-endorsed candidate is indicated by an asterisk. Additionally, the name of the candidate who has filed a certificate of eligibility and consent to primary or has satisfied the primary petitioning requirements in conformity with the General Statutes is also shown:

The Primary will begin with early voting on August 3, 2026 through August 9, 2026, and the Primary will be held on August 11, 2026.  The hours of early voting and at said Primary and the location of the polls will be as follows:

Hours of Early Voting:    

August 3, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

August 4, 2026 – 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

August 5, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

August 6, 2026 – 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

August 7, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

August 8, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

August 9, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Location of Early Voting:   

Killingworth Town Hall, 323 Route 81, Killingworth

Hours of Primary Day Voting:

August 11, 2026, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Location of Primary Day Voting:

Killingworth Elementary School/KES, 340 Route 81, Killingworth

Absentee ballots will be available July 21, 2026, at Office of Town Clerk, 323 Route 81, Killingworth

—–Voting tabulators will be used.  Absentee ballots will be counted at the polling place on Primary Day.
