(May 29, 2026) — If you look at my picture, you’ll see that my coloring is considered a brindle, so I’m guessing that’s why my name is Brin. Sadly, I am looking for a new home because my owner went into a nursing home due to advanced dementia.
I am a Greyhound/Plott Hound Mix only six years of age. I am a beautiful female, as you can see, who weighs sixty-four pounds. I’m stunning! What can I say? It’s just not fair, I know. I had a housemate named Penny, but I am not bonded to her, so I’m all set and ready to go all on my own.

Everyone says I am a total sweetheart with medium energy. I love to trot around like a horse or just hang out with everyone. I have to say I do like the company of other dogs, and children eight years of age and older who are respectful are okay, too. I love snacks, so if a kid drops something on the floor, it will be gone in a second.
To inquire further about Brin, please email her adoption counselor Tracey at tracey.d@poainc.org and complete an adoption application ASAP at www.poainc.org .
