Killingworth Lions to Host Food Drive March 28th and April 4th

(March 14, 2026) — The Killingworth Lions will be collecting non-perishable food and cash donations to support the Helping Hands Food Pantry. Members of the Killingworth Lions will be set up at Recycle Way on Saturday, March 28, 2026 and on Saturday April 4, 2026 from  8:00 a.m. to  1:00 p.m.
 
Please consider donating what you can to support the work of Helping Hands.  Below is a suggested list of items that would beappreciated.  Thank you for all the support.
 
Helping Hands Food List:
Tuna
Peanut Butter
Soup
Flour/Sugar – small bags/packages
Canned Chili
Oatmeal and Oatmeal Packets
Boxed Potatoes or small packages of potatoes – single serving
Applesauce
Flavored Rice Packages
Canned Chicken
Crackers
Coffee/Tea
Cake/Brownie Mix
Muffin Mix
Snack/Bars- Protein Bars
Protein Snacks
Cereal – Prefer cereals not in the child category
Jar or Bottled Juice – Not refrigerated types
