The telethon was a true district-wide effort, with all schools in the Haddam/Killingworth district contributing through performances, fundraising initiatives, and participation. Musical performances spanned every level of the district, including elementary, middle, intermediate and high school ensembles, highlighting the depth of talent and strong sense of community across Regional School District 17. The broadcast reached more than 2,300 live viewers, reflecting strong engagement and support.

Funds raised will directly support families awaiting or undergoing life-saving heart transplant surgeries. The HKHS Annual Holiday Telethon stands as a powerful example of HKHS students applying real-world media production skills while leading a meaningful community wide initiative.
