Letter to the Editor: Practice for Peace

The views stated here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the editors of this newspaper. We welcome supporting or opposing views on any published item. Received January 24, 2024.

“P for P” is an idea that stands for “Practice for Peace,” devoting fifteen to twenty minutes each day to peace through self-care. You could hike, bike, swim, do yoga or tai chi, play an instrument, cook a meal, sing, meditate or read Psalms.

Begin your activity with an earnest desire to devote your practice to peace. Put it out there in a spoken word or prayer, then complete your self-care activity of choice.

Feel blessed for blessing the world!
