(October 29, 2026) — Members of the Haddam Garden Club gathered recently for a tea to celebrate our friend and outgoing President Kate Hull.
It was an afternoon of friendship, delicious treats and poignant memories as Kate and her husband John have plans to move to New Hampshire.
Spectacular arrangements courtesy of our floral superstar, Gail Christie, adorned tables set with member’s dishes and mismatched teapots. A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of a painting of the Hulls’ beautiful riverview property by local artist and member Dodie Ruimerman as a gift from the club, and an original poem read by incoming President, Caroline Gold. Aloha, Kate, and thank you for your leadership.
