(September 13, 2026) — Jon Slane caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Tim Hickman and scored on a 61-yard interception return to lead the Haddam Killingworth High School Cougars (1-0) to a home win over Cromwell/Portland by a final score of 22- 21 on September 11, 2026. HKHS came from behind in the fourth quarter to win the game on an Even Garcia two-yard rushing touchdown, followed by Slane’s two-point conversion run.
