(September 10, 2026) — Juliet Cavanaugh, Chairwoman of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, has announced that the Chamber’s 130th Annual Awards Dinner will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Annual Awards Dinner is one of the Chamber’s premier events, bringing together business leaders, community partners, elected officials, nonprofit organizations, and Chamber members to celebrate another year of collaboration, leadership and service throughout Middlesex County.
During this special evening, the Chamber will honor its 2026 Distinguished Citizens, including Rodney Bitgood, Scott Brown, and James Crawford, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the community. The Chamber also will recognize Cynthia Clegg as the Nonprofit Leader Distinguished Citizen for her dedication and impact within the nonprofit sector.
In addition, the Chamber will present the Chief Michael L. Green Award to Retired Middletown Police Chief Lynn Baldoni in recognition of her exceptional leadership, commitment to public service, and lasting contributions to the community. The evening also will include recognition of Chamber leadership, including Past Chairwoman Pam Steele, as the organization reflects on a successful year and looks ahead to the future. “We look forward to celebrating these remarkable individuals and bringing together our Chamber community for an evening of recognition, gratitude and fellowship,” said Cavanaugh.
