America 250 Sponsors “Celebrate Freedom” Haddam Decoration Contest

(May 8, 2026) — Haddam’s “America 250” Committee is pleased to announce the “Celebrate Freedom” decoration contest for all Haddam residents and businesses. Decorate your home, apartments, outbuildings, or storefronts in red, white, and blue to celebrate America’s 250th. This is an opportunity to honor American history, show community spirit and create lasting memories.

Participants will be evaluated on their creativity, visual impact, and overall patriotic theme. The contest runs from May 25, 2026 to July 4, 2026. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the town-wide Picnic on July 11, 2026.
