(May 7, 2026) —The Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Tennis team put together a strong week of play, earning three victories over Old Saybrook/Portland, Valley, and East Hampton.
The Cougars opened the week with a 7–0 sweep of Old Saybrook/Portland. HKHS controlled every court from the start, highlighted by decisive straight-set wins across all four singles and #1 doubles and a pair of doubles wins by forfeit to complete the shutout.
At home on April 29, 2026 against Valley Regional, HKHS earned a 5–2 victory. The Cougars swept all four singles matches and added a win at #2 doubles.
The team closed out the week with a 5–2 win over East Hampton on May 1, 2026. The Cougars swept all four singles matches and added a win at # 2 doubles. The #2 doubles match included a come from behind victory by Alex O’Rourke and Tyler Dickinson.
