Higganum/Haddam VFW Sponsors Food Drive May 1st to May 15th

(April 22, 2026) — Higganum/Haddam VFW POST 10690 is proud to announce its 2026 Days of Service Food Drive benefitting the Haddam Social Services Food Pantry. From May 1, 2026 through May 15, 2026, the Post, in partnership with local businesses, will have food collection bins at several town locations. Non-perishable food items and personal care products can be dropped off at the following locations:

Haddam Senior Center

Jack’s Country Restaurant

River Valley Provisions

Town and Country Nurseries

United Congregational Church of Haddam and Higganum

This is a critically important time to collect food items, in particular as school lunches will be ending soon for the summer. Monetary donations also will be accepted. Please mail to or drop off at Haddam Social Services, 11 Jail Hill Road in Haddam. Help us help our community as we collect food to benefit Haddam Social Services!
