(April 4, 2026) — The annual referendum for the Regional School District #17 Budget will be held on May 5, 2026 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Yes/No Question: Shall we adopt a Regional School District #17 education gross budget of $54,465,593 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026?
All polling locations will be open for this referendum. Remember, all property owners (who own Haddam taxable property of $1,000 or more) are encouraged to vote. Your Vote Matters.

*District #001 – Haddam Firehouse Community Hall, 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum
*District #002 – Regional School District #17, Central Office, 57 Little City Road, Higganum
*District #003 – Haddam Neck Firehouse, 50 Rock Landing Road, Haddam Neck
*Curbside voting available for “voters with a disability.”
To register to vote, your registration application must be received by mail or in person by your Registrar of Voters or Town Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on May 4, 2026. Call the Registrars of Voters at 860-345-0979 for voting information and the Town Clerk at 860-345-8531 for absentee ballot applications.
