Pieper Olson Foundation Hosts Veterinary Care Fundraiser June 5th

Submitted by Kathleen Hennessy

(March 9, 2026) — The Pieper Olson Foundation is proud to announce its inaugural signature fundraising event, The Journey Home 2026 Gala, to be held on June 5, 2026 at Saybrook Point Resort and Marina.

This elegant evening will bring together animal lovers, community leaders, veterinary partners, and philanthropic supporters for a powerful celebration of compassion in action. Guests will enjoy cocktail hour, dinner, silent and live auctions, and a moving mission program highlighting the real families and beloved pets whose lives have been changed through emergency veterinary assistance.

The Pieper Olson Foundation provides financial grants to families facing urgent veterinary crises, ensuring that no one has to say goodbye to a beloved companion simply because lifesaving care is out of reach. Behind every grant is a family holding their breath — and a pet fighting for a second chance.

“The Journey Home Gala is more than a fundraiser,” said Kathy Hennessy, Executive Director of the Pieper Olson Foundation. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate the bond between families and their pets, and to stand together as a community committed to compassionate access to care.”

The Pieper Olson Foundation is proud to announce RiverLane as the Lead Sponsor of the 2026 Journey Home Gala, a partnership that sets the tone for this first-ever gala and reflects the spirit of compassion and collaboration at the heart of the Foundation’s mission.

The 2026 Gala aims to raise critical funds to expand the Foundation’s ability to respond when families need help most. Proceeds from the evening directly support emergency veterinary grants provided through the Foundation’s veterinary partner.

Businesses and individuals interested in sponsorship or auction donations are encouraged to contact the Foundation for more information. For updates and event details, visit www.pieperolsonfoundation.pet or email info@pieperolsonfoundation.pet.
