Boys Basketball 2026: HKHS Falls to Old Saybrook, 63-41

(January 22, 2026) — On January 16, 2026, the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team suffered its second loss of the season, falling to Old Saybrook 63-41. While the Cougars saw strong performances from Junior Kody Lehet and Seniors Declan Moriarty and Jay Evans, the team was unable to overcome the Rams, who outscored the Cougars each quarter.

Lehet led all scorers with 11. Moriarty and Evans chipped in 9 and 8 points, respectively. Junior Noah Marica had a solid game, contributing 7 points while Juniors Mason Eighmy (4) and Brody Ferguson (2) rounded out the scoring. The Cougars fall to 7-2 on the season and will look to rebound with three games on the schedule during the week of January 20, 2026. See you on the court.
