Oddfellows Playhouse Holds Auditions for “Charlotte’s Web”

Submitted by Oddfellows Playhouse

(December 5, 2025) — Oddfellows Playhouse Junior Repertory Company 2026 will hold auditions for teen actors for its upcoming production of “Charlotte’s Web,” directed by Dan Schmidt.

Based on E.B White’s 1952 young adult novel, the production will use the dramatic adaptation by Joseph Robinette. A heartwarming story about friendship, loyalty, and the cycle of life, “Charlotte’s Web” centers around a pig named Wilbur and his unlikely friendship with a kind, wise spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered, Charlotte uses her web-weaving skills to write messages in the barn’s rafters, convincing the world that Wilbur is “Terrific” and “Some Pig,” and saving his life. As she helps Wilbur find a new home and future, Charlotte must also face her own mortality. “Charlotte’s Web” is a tale of true compassion, sacrifice and the beauty of small acts of kindness.
