Find a Fur Baby: Zeppelin Still Looking for a Home

Submitted by Judith Levin

(November 28, 2025) — I have posted Zeppelin various times now. He has been at the Protectors of Animals Shelter for almost two years.

Zeppelin is such a handsome, loving hound and is just four years old. He loves people and, when presented with a treat, will gently take it from your hand. It was thought that this great dog would get scooped up and taken to a new home in no time, but, sadly, that did not happen. Years have passed by, and he still dreams of a home to call his own.

One of the volunteers at Protectors of Animals was kind enough to foster him. He has a nickname, “Zeppy,” that suits him. This dog really has come a long way.  He is extremely intelligent, learns new tricks daily. He loves his bully sticks as a snack as he takes a break from his schooling. Some other great things to know about him are he likes to go on walks, hike, sunbathe, go in the car for some fun rides, and just snuggle with someone. He adores attention and will be your best friend in no time. Zeppelin loves to take up the whole bed when he goes to sleep. Although he must be the only dog in the home, he bonds with those he loves and will fill your heart with all the love he can give.

This guy is housebroken and loves to have a routine, as many dogs do. Protectors of Animals has posted picture upon picture of him, had many meet-and-greets, and people all say he is a fantastic boy; but, as yet, no family. I do not understand why.

If you or someone you know would be interested in Zeppelin, please copy and paste www.poainc.org into your browser and fill out and application or contact his adoption counselor with any questions at sam.reyes@poainc.org.
