Essex Trust Hires Leonard Offutt as Vice President and Trust Officer

(November 15, 2025) — Essex Trust, a division of Essex Bank, has announced the
hiring of Leonard Offutt as Vice President and Trust Officer. Mr. Offutt is a seasoned fiduciary professional with more than twelve years experience in trust and estate planning and administration.

He comes to Essex Trust after nearly a decade at a large national bank’s trust and wealth management division, where he was most recently a Senior Trust Officer serving high-net-worth individuals, families and private foundations.

Prior to that time, Mr. Offutt was an attorney in private practice in Manhattan. Mr. Offutt holds a B.A. in history and political science from Kenyon College and earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. His hiring will facilitate the continued growth and expansion of Essex Trust’s suite of fiduciary services, including trust and estate administration, financial management, agency and family office solutions for individuals and entities.
