My name is Nancy Gorski, and I am honored to announce my candidacy for Selectman for the Town of Killingworth.

For the past 26 years, I have been proud to call Killingworth my home. Throughout this time, I have dedicated myself to public service in our community, including:

  • Board of Education – 6 years
  • Board of Finance – 12 years
  • Selectman – 2 years
  • First Selectman – 2 years

Since leaving the First Selectman’s office in 2023, I have realized how much I miss serving the town I love. I am eager to continue contributing my experience and commitment to the people of Killingworth.

As Selectman, my priorities include:

  • Advancing PFAS remediation to protect our community’s health while promoting transparency in communications.
  • Holding the Board of Education accountable for fiscal conservancy in its annual budgets while also working collaboratively on next steps toward its strategic plan.
  • Forming a committee to study forms of government, as recommended by the Charter Revision Committee in 2023.
  • Completing an ethics policy and establishing an Ethics Commission.

I believe in responsible and transparent leadership that puts the needs of Killingworth residents first. With your support, I hope to continue serving our community as Selectman.
