(August 12, 2025) — Sacred Heart on the Lake Retreat Center will present “Art and Spirituality” Retreats on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 and on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Well-known local artist Ed Rosado will team with Sr. Lany Jo at teaching and demonstrating how art can be a segue into prayerful mediation and contemplation. Both of these Art Retreats are for those who already have some background in art and in the media they most often use to create, especially, landscapes, which will be the focus of these sessions at the scenic lake and grounds of the Sacred Heart on the Lake Retreat Center.
Mr. Rosado will offer artistic critiques and pointers and Sr. Lany Jo will offer guidance at prayerfully focusing on our Creator God dwelling within us, allowing us to create with Him. Please bring your lunch and art supplies. Coffee, tea and other hot and cold drinks will be provided.
