(August 8, 2025) — Betty is such a great dog! But she is getting severe kennel stress from being at Brass City Rescue for so long, the poor thing!

This girl came from New Haven Animal Control. She is an American Pit Bull Terrier around four to five years old. She would do great as an only doggie in the house, but a docile male fur sibling would work, too.
Betty absolutely loves car rides, and visiting with the teenage volunteers at Brass City Shelter, and visiting with all of the people at the veterinary hospital, and, really, visiting anyone she meets. She loves attention, kisses and hugs. She is the most affectionate, playful, snuggly dog, and has the best personality. Betty is up-to-date with all of her shots and she is spayed.
Brass City is not sure of her history, but that’s all behind her now, and Betty will make someone or some family a great pet. She is good with kids and other dogs, but not with kitties. Please, let’s get her home so she can relax and be loved for the rest of her life rather than walking around in circles from stressing out.
