All Ages Programs
Hiking Club– Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.: Want to learn about the many cool hikes around town? Come on down to the hiking club! The club meets at the library and travels from there.
Cardigan Club – Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.: A Taylor Swift craft club for all ages. Wear your cutest cardigan and join us to create and plan future crafts. Snacks provided. Please register online at brainerdlibrary.org.
Adult Programs
Adult Summer Reading Reverse Book Club – Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.: Join us to discuss any books you’ve read for Summer reading, Light refreshments will be available.
Culinary Club, July 9, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.: This month, members of this potluck club will be cooking/baking anything from a cookbook they got at the library! Feel free to let your imagination run wild!
Jigsaw Puzzle Club – Monday, July 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.: Join us for the new Jigsaw Puzzle Club. This is a drop-in event, no signup necessary. Work on a jigsaw puzzle provided by Brainerd Library, and bring a puzzle to swap with other puzzlers if you wish!
Drop-In Crafting – Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.: Drop in for this casual adult crafting group. This month we will be making Paper Flowers and Christmas-in-July ornaments!!
Teen Programs
Teen Dungeons & Dragons – Tuesdays, July 8, 2025 and July 22, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.: Join a campaign and experience epic adventures! For new and old players alike.
Teen Taste Test Showdown: Milk! – Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.: Haven’t you always wanted to taste a bunch of milk? Strong bones and all that. Come along and see which dairy and non-dairy option is your favorite!
Tween Switch Game Night: Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.: Calling all tweens! Come and play fun games with other kids on the switch. Super Smash and Mario Kart are on rotation.
Kids Programs
Preschool Storytime – Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.: Join us for our weekly story time filled with interactive storytelling fun!
Lunch at the Library – Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m.: Make a fun themed dessert, and then eat your bag lunch with the other kids! Come on down and meet some new friends with the other kids.
Toddler Tunes – Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.: A sing-a-long with live music and fun weekly themes.
Kids Board Game Night – Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.: Elementary age kids can join us for an hour of fun and family-friendly board games, from classics like Connect Four to newer games just waiting to become your family’s next favorite.
Kids Dungeons & Dragons – Ages 7-10 Tuesday July 15, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.; Ages 11-13 Tuesdays July 8, 2025 and July 22, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.: Join us at the Brainerd House School of Magical Mysteries for a fun D&D adventure! Age groups will alternate every Tuesday. No experience necessary.
Pokémon Club – Wednesdays, July 9, 2025 and July 23, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.: A club for kids who love Pokémon. Trivia and Prizes! Fat Pikachus! Bring your game and/or cards. Trading allowed with adult permission.
