Lip-Sync Contest to Debut at “All Things Killingworth” Town Picnic

Submitted by Jessie Ford

(July 2, 2025) — Do you have what it takes to be a lip-sync legend? Then step into the spotlight at the 2025 All Things Killingworth Town Picnic’s Lip Sync Contest, where no vocal talent is required—just attitude, energy, and the courage to have a great time!

This high-energy event is open to anyone age 10 and up, whether you’re flying solo or rocking out as a group. Doesn’t matter who you are channeling, Taylor Swift, Queen, BTS, or The Village People—this is your moment to shine.

Spots are limited to just ten acts, so early registration is encouraged! Submit your entry online by September 20, 2025 or before slots fill up. If spaces remain, day-of signups will be available at the picnic on a first come, first served basis.

Prizes will be awarded based on:

  • Lip Sync Ability
  • Appearance and Stage Presence
  • Overall Creativity
  • Crowd Appeal and Audience Response

🎤 Costumes and props are highly encouraged—the bolder, the better!
🎶 All performances must be under four minutes and feature songs available on Spotify.

This year’s picnic is all about celebrating community, and what better way than by cheering on your friends and neighbors as they dazzle (and possibly delightfully embarrass themselves) in front of a live crowd? So what are you waiting for? Pick your song, grab your fake mic, and get ready to lip sync like you mean it.

Event: “All Things Killingworth” Town Picnic
