(May 17, 2025) — River Valley Transit will implement several changes to its service beginning May 27, 2025. These include:
- Elimination of deviations
- Routes 640, 642, 644 and 645 will become fixed routes with complimentary ADA paratransit instead of deviations.
- Route 643 will become a commuter bus service
- Route 642 and 640 will offer hourly service
- New Saturday service on route 644
- Alignment changes on routes 582, 642 and 645
Clinton Trolley Resumes Service
The Clinton Trolley returns beginning May 24, 2025. The trolley will operate Fridays through Sundays. It also will operate its Sunday schedule on the Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day Monday holidays. The trolley is free and connects riders to Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison with several stops along the way.
