Boys Tennis 2025: HKHS Defeats Lyme-Old Lyme 5-2

(May 1, 2025) — The Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys tennis team remain unbeaten in Shoreline Conference play and enjoy a 9-1 overall record after their victory in a match played against Lyme-Old Lyme on April 29, 2025.

HKHS swept the singles play, won the match at #1 doubles in straight sets, and came back to split sets in the #3 doubles match before eventually losing that match in a third set tiebreak.  Michael Perry and Chase Smalley teamed up at #1 doubles to insure the win and keep the Cougars conference record for this season intact at 8-0, while Joe Castelli and Jackson Smith at #3 doubles continue to improve with each match they play as a doubles team.

3   Ryan Miller/John Turick (OL) d. Joe Castelli/Jackson Smith (H-K) 0-6, 6-4,  TB 10-6
