(January 17, 2025) — I have posted Zeppelin various times now. Today marks a year since he entered the Protectors of Animals Shelter.
Zeppelin is such a handsome, loving hound just three years old. He loves people and, when presented with a treat, he will so gently take it from your hand. It was thought that this great dog would get scooped up and taken to a new home in no time flat, but sadly that did not happen. Months and months have passed, and he still dreams of a home to call his own.
One of the volunteers at Protectors of Animals was kind enough to foster him. He has a nickname, “Zeppy,” that suits him. This dog has really come a long way in a year’s time. He is extremely intelligent and learns new tricks daily. He loves his bully sticks as a snack as he takes a break from his schooling. Some other great things to know about him are that he likes to go on walks, hike, sunbathe, go in the car for some fun rides, and just snuggle up with someone. He adores attention and will be your best friend in no time. Zeppelin loves to take up the whole bed when he goes to sleep. Although he must be the only dog in the home, he bonds with those he loves and will fill your heart with all the love he can give.
This guy is housebroken and loves to have a routine, as many dogs do. Protectors of Animals has posted picture after picture of him, had many meet-and-greets, and people all say he is a fantastic boy. Yet, no family. I do not understand why. There is a community of supporters who are donating some great things to his care package when he finally gets that family he so deserves. Donations are as follows:
- One free training session courtesy of POA to continue his progress
- A box of twelve stylish bow ties to keep him looking sharp all year by Woof Wear Bows
- A professional photoshoot by Christine Penney Photographer to capture treasured moments with his new family
- $25 gift card, bag of treats and a frisbee toy from the Ädelbrook Bark-ery which makes amazing dog cakes and treats
- A handmade new collar from Sadie Mae’s Corner to start his new journey looking his best
Will someone come forward and make this poor baby’s dream come true and give him the most loving home? If you or someone you know would be interested in Zeppelin, please copy and paste www.poainc.org into your browser and fill out an application or contact his adoption counselor with any questions at sam.reyes@poainc.org.
