This letter is in support of Cinzia Lettieri who is running to represent Connecticut’s 35th House District.

I first met Cinzia at a Killingworth Democratic Town Committee at the beginning of the year. She was already fully committed to running for office. Lettieri introduced herself to the group, told us of her local upbringing, educational accomplishments, public advocacy endeavors, work history, and plans for the campaign.

Her high energy level, go-getter personality, and directness were qualities foreign to a mild-mannered person like me. I wasn’t sure if she was the right person for Killingworth. But since that initial impression, things have been different. First impressions can be deceiving.

Lettieri has channeled her boundless energy into her campaign, building an impressive list of endorsements, creating a website, showing up at events, and preparing the necessary hand-outs and campaign trappings that go with a campaign. Cinzia brings her positive energy and willingness to listen to every KDTC meeting—updating the committee on her campaign and the issues important to residents in our district. With a family and all that she’s involved in, that’s impressive.

Equally impressive to me is the number of people she has met going door to door listening to the public she wishes to represent. Unaffiliated, Republican, Democrat, it doesn’t matter. All residents need representation and Lettieri has spoken with folks across the political spectrum. She has knocked on several thousand doors and done so with ease.

Sometimes it seems like we don’t hear much from our state representative. That will not be the case with Cinzia Lettieri. With her dedication to public service and unstoppable energy, Killingworth, Clinton and Westbrook will have an advocate who delivers. That is why I support Cinzia Lettieri for Connecticut’s 35th House District.
