Off to College?

ARE YOU NEW TO KILLINGWORTH??

ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE??

HEADING TO COLLEGE THIS FALL?

APPLY FOR AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BEFORE YOU GO!

This November’s Presidential Election is already heating up, so it’s more important than ever to ensure your vote counts!  If you have not yet registered to vote, you can do so online with a valid Connecticut driver’s license at https://voterregistration.ct.gov/ or stop by Killingworth Town Hall during any of our open hours and complete a voter registration card. (Please bring your ID to simplify the process.)

Once you register to vote, you may fill out an Absentee Ballot Application giving your college mailing address. Then, on October 4, 2024, an official Absentee Ballot for the November 5, 2024 election will be mailed directly to you at school.  Absentee Ballot Applications are available in the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall, online at www.townofkillingworth.com and online from the Secretary of the State at https://voterregistration.ct.gov/.  If you would rather not fill out a paper application, you can also apply entirely online with a valid Connecticut driver’s license at www.myvote.ct.gov/getmyab.

Once you receive your absentee ballot, please do not delay in returning it.  The post office will take several days to deliver your ballot and your completed ballot must be RECEIVED in the Town Clerk’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on election day for your vote to be counted.

Please feel free to contact the Town Clerk at 860-663-1765 x502 with any Absentee questions.

Call the Registrar of Voter for any voting information at 860-663-1765 x216.
