HKYFS Offers its Eleventh Annual School Supply Program

Submitted by Jennifer Favalora

(July 15, 2024) — As the new school year quickly approaches, Haddam-Killingworth Youth and Family Services is excited to once again offer our Eleventh Annual School Supply Program. This initiative aims to ensure that every child has the tools they need for a successful academic year, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

The HKYFS School Supply Program is specifically designed to provide essential school supplies to families in need. From backpacks and lunchboxes to notebooks and folders, our program ensures that all HK students are equally equipped to start the school year with confidence. By providing these necessary resources, we aim to remove any barriers to learning and help every child feel prepared and excited for the new academic year.

Families interested in receiving support from the HKYFS School Supply Program can easily sign up by visiting www.hkyfs.org. Supplies will be distributed during the week of August 19, 2024, just in time for the start of school. Early registration is strongly encouraged to ensure that everyone receives what they need. The program is open to all Haddam and Killingworth families who find themselves in need of assistance.

The HKYFS School Supply Program’s success relies heavily on the generous support of our community. We are incredibly grateful for your continuous support, which helps us make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of our community’s youth.
