(June 18, 2024) — Due to the anticipated and extended heat wave this week, the Senior Center will also serve as a Cooling Center and we will be extending the hours the Senior Center is open:
Tuesday, June 18, 2024 – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, June 19, 2024 – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, June 20, 2024 – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday, June 21, 2024 – 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 Noon
On Tuesday and Thursday, we will have our normal activities, and on Wednesday I will have a movie playing beginning at 1:00 p.m., the title to be announced. Coffee will be available all day on each day we are open!
Please note the tips below so you know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke:
Don’t stay home, come socialize, play cards, cornhole, board games and/or watch a movie. Please share with your friends and neighbors. We would love to see you!
