(February 22, 2024) — Haddam Volunteer Fire Company has four reasons to celebrate!
Franklin Pierce celebrated his 25th anniversary serving with HVFC. Firefighter Franklin joined the company as a Junior Division member in 1997 and was promoted to the rank of Firefighter in 1999. He’s currently a veteran driver. During his tenure, Franklin has served as a Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, mechanical engineer, mechanic, and as a member of the Water Resources Committee, Fire Prevention Committee, and continues to lead Driver’s Training. Thank you for 25 years of service to the Town of Haddam!
John Shettleworth recently completed his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Firefighter John joined the company as a Junior Division member in 2017 and was promoted to Firefighter in 2022. He’s currently the company’s Quartermaster.
