HVFC Congratulates Bob Kadrle for 55 Years of Service

(January 13, 2024) — Congratulations to Haddam Volunteer Fire Company Firefighter Robert “Bob” Kadrle!

During the company meeting on January 8, 2024, Bob received his 55-years-of-service pin. Bob is the first member in the company’s history to serve for this length of time.

Five years ago, the Town of Haddam declared January 8th as “Robert Kadrle Day,” honoring his 50th year of service.

Bob joined Haddam Volunteer Fire Company in 1969 and served on multiple committees, including the Old Timers Night Committee, the Children’s Christmas Party Committee, and the Picnic Committee.

In Haddam, the U.S. Army Veteran volunteers for the town’s Parade Committee and Veterans Museum Committee. Bob was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War.

Please thank Bob for 55 years of dedicated service to the Town of Haddam!
