(October 28, 2023) — Michael Sitaro threw three touchdown passes and Ameka Yearwood ran for two more in the win by the co-op of Cromwell/Portland (5-1), 48-12 over Haddam-Killingworth on October 27, 2023 in Cromwell. Bryce Lacoss tossed two touchdown passes for HK (1-6), one to Josh Frith and the other to Joe Slane.
“We came out flat and put ourselves in a hole right away. You can’t do that against a good team like Cromwell,” said HK Head Coach Tyler Wilcox. “We rallied for two touchdowns in the second quarter and then held them scoreless in the second half, so I like the way our kids never quit.”
The Cougars next travel to Coventry on November 3, 2023 for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
