(June 13, 2024) — The Robotics Team at Xavier High School in Middletown is hosting a Robotics/STEM summer camp for students in grades 5 – 8.
The camp will be held at Xavier High School July 15 – 19, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon. Students will build, program and operate LEGO EV-3 robots, learn basic CAD (Computer Aided Design), produce 3D printed parts, and operate robots that were built by the Robotics Team for use in statewide robotics competitions.
They also will learn how engineering principles can be put into practice by building crafts such as soda bottle rockets, small paddle boats, airplanes, and more.
The cost is $300, and registration will be limited to twenty-four students. Students can sign up under the Community Tab at www.xavierhighschool.org, or contact Alee at: AZTeach12@gmail.com.
