(Feb. 24, 2022) — Paint Party!!! As many of you know, our neighbors have been displaced due to a fire – and you have all been extremely generous and we thank you. I am happy to report that the family has found temporary lodging here in Killingworth so their children can continue with their education uninterrupted.
With that, we are going to ask you all for one more thing – we need to get the home that they are temporarily residing in painted inside to make it livable for the short term.
Killingworth True Value has stepped up once again and is providing paint, rollers, brushes, etc. We need bodies and willing hands for a painting party!!!
Where: Killingworth Cafe – on the traffic circle
When: This Saturday, Feb. 26.
Time: 9:00 a.m. through the day – if you can’t make it all day but want to help part of the day, you are more than welcome!
