(July 14, 2023) — The Belltown Antique Car Club will host its 56th Annual Vintage Motorcar Meet on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds in Haddam Neck.
Stock, unmodified antique cars and trucks at least forty years old (up to 1983) will be judged in twenty-four classes,
eligible for our unique “Belltown Bell” trophies. The first 300 show cars will get a dash plaque.
There promises to be an interesting mix of everything from Brass-Era cars to 1960’s muscle cars, orphan name plates to luxury marques, and classic sports cars to vintage pick-ups. Judging begins at noon, with trophies awarded at 3:00 p.m.
A display-only area will be provided for hot rods, kit cars and modified collector cars (up to 1982) that are not eligible for trophies. All vehicles newer than forty years old must
go to the spectator parking area.
Also included in the event is a flea market with vendors offering antique car parts, tools and other merchandise of interest to collector car hobbyists. Food and refreshment sales will be provided by Masonic Lodge #112 of East Hampton.

The Belltown Antique Car Club is one of the oldest independent, non-make specific clubs dedicated to antique car owners and enthusiasts in Connecticut. It was founded in 1968 in East Hampton, whose history is linked to the manufacture of brass bells (hence its nickname, Belltown)
