Haddam’s next voting session is the “Haddam Municipal Election” on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Haddam voters will vote for First Selectman, Selectman, Tax Collector, Board of Finance, Board of Finance Alternate, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning and Zoning Commission, Planning and Zoning Alternate, Zoning Board of Appeals, Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate and Board of Education.
To register to vote: The Registrars’ Office is open on Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or register at Haddam Town Hall, Town Clerk’s office (see Town Hall hours below). You may also request the Registrar of Voters or Town Clerk to send you a mail-in voter registration form, or visit our web-site haddam.org/registrar-voters .
The polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The three polling places are:

Registration Sessions and Deadlines:
October 31, 2023–9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. – All day registration and in-person cut-off to register for the November 7, 2023 “Municipal Election” – Cut off is 8:00 p.m. for in-person, 11:59 p.m. deadline for online (a DMV license is required) and mail-in registration must be postmarked by October 31, 2023.
November 6, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Limited Registration Session to admit those seeking to vote in election whose qualification as to age, citizenship or residence was attained since October 31, 2023.

NOTE: ELECTION DAY REGISTRATION
Individuals may register and vote in person on Election Day if they meet the eligibility requirements for voting in this state and are (1) not already an elector or (2) registered in one municipality but want to change their registration because they currently reside in another municipality. By law, a person is eligible to register and vote if they are (1) a U.S. citizen, (2) age 18 or older, and (3) a bona fide resident of the municipality in which they apply for admission as an elector.
